Ketland Blunderbuss
This fine 18th century Blunderbuss was bought in England by an American Soldier and is accompanied with that receipt. It is in splendid condition; the figured walnut stock is sound and the Ketland signed lock, with sliding safety, works perfectly. It's brass barrel is classically shaped, flared with a "bugle mouth" 2 inches in diameter and is mounted with a spring loaded folding bayonet, which upon a pull of its handy catch springs to attention!
The octagon to round barrel is 18 inches long, the triangular bayonet is 16 inches long, making for an overall length of 48 inches when the weapon is un-folded and a compact 34 inches when closed.
